About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will oversee project execution, coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and general contractors, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial HVAC construction projects from award through project closeout.
- Organize project startup activities and assign responsibilities to project teams.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Coordinate equipment procurement and subcontractor activities.
- Oversee superintendent coordination and field operations.
- Manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate purchasing activities and material deliveries.
- Monitor project budgets, billing, cost tracking, and financial performance.
- Maintain regular communication with general contractors, owners, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Lead project startup, commissioning coordination, and final closeout activities.
- Identify project risks and develop effective solutions to maintain project success.
- Prepare regular project status updates for executive leadership.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years of Commercial HVAC Construction Project Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience.
- Minimum 6 years of leadership or project management experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial mechanical construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, and project controls.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some college coursework is preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
